Hillsboro - Mrs. Effie Stull, 50, wife of Lawson Stull, died at her home near here Tuesday morning at 4 following an illness of several months. Death was due to dropsy and heart trouble.  The deceased was the daughter of John Albert and Mary L. Maltsberger Fruits. She was born one mile south of the Prarie Chapel Church on Oct 1 3, 1880. On Oct 15, 1898 she was united in marriage to Charles Elmer Ellis, who has been dead a number of years. Her marriage to Lawson Stull to ok place Feb 28, 1921. Mrs. Stull was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church and charter member of the Aid society of that organization. She also was a member of the Fern Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Hillsboro and past worthy matron.  The survivors are the husband, Lawson Stull; a son, Harley Ellis who lives near Hillsboro and a brother, William E. Fruits of Indianapolis. Another brother preceded Mrs. Stull in death. Funeral services will be held at the Prairie Chapel Church near HiIlsboro at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The pastor of the church, Rev. Mrs. Carrie Bever will have charge of the services. Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - transcribed by kbz
